Having never had so much as a cold before you can imagine how terrified I was when told that I would have to have an operation and subsequent treatment. Dr Dua did everything to reassure me and explained every aspect of my treatment etc. She is extremely understanding of a persons needs and makes you feel completely at ease. She is an absolute asset to an otherwise overstretched service, yet despite this she affords you as much time as you need and listens intently. I cannot even begin to suggest ways in which Dr Dua could improve on the service she provides as she is already excellent.

At the point of being told that I had breast cancer, my world stopped. My only thought was "I'm dying, and who would take care of my children". I needed an angel and she was standing before me. Sascha has been a lifeline to me and my family. She does a job I could not do, particularly when the outcome is negative. That said, she managed to bring so much love and compassion and above all hope to all to all her patients. I have the greatest respect for her, and owe her so much. I know I couldn't have had better treatment anywhere. Thank you Sascha from the bottom of my heart.

From the first time I met Miss Dua in Broomfield Hospital she was bright, friendly and positive. She was always prepared to fully answer all my questions, and would spend time explaining what would happen thoroughly. I felt she was always on my side and she was keen to make sure I was happy with my reconstruction. She always remembered my case and was excellent at putting you at ease. I always had confidence in her and she really is a brilliant surgeon, making an excellent job of my reconstruction. I can't recommend her enough. Thank you, Sarah

My current breast surgeon had sadly retired so I needed to find a new consultant to continue my care after being diagnosed with breast cancer few years back in my early 30’s. I researched and came across Miss Sacha Dua. I choose her for two reasons. 1. She was female and thought it would be a refreshing change from a male 2. She was a breast reconstructive specialist, which what I was looking for. From the moment I had my first appointment with Sacha I just knew I had chosen the correct person to look after me. We discussed having my breast reduced in size to match the breast I had a lumpectomy due to cancer, we both agreed not to make this breast larger, I particularly didn't want that breast touched again. Radiotherapy results in the effected breast staying more ‘pert’, whereas gravity and age over the years had been unkind to the other side and resulted in imbalanced breasts, this affected my confidence, my appearance and a constant reminder that I had suffered with breast cancer. So I went ahead and had surgery mid Oct 2014. Months on, I’m so pleased I took this decision. The op was a huge success, I had decent amount reduced and now I no longer have wonky boobs, they are the same size! I feel fantastic in my appearance, and can’t give enough praise to Sacha and her cleaver hands! I echo all the wonderful comments on here. She just totally understood me, and her approach is friendly, relaxed, completely professional and totally ‘gets it’ as far as us women are concerned about our bodies and confidence. I would highly recommend Sacha, especially if anyone like me, wants reconstructive reduction to book an appointment with Sacha. Huge thanks to Sacha, her wonderful team and staff at Nuffield, Brentwood.

I was referred as a fast track patient to the Breast clinic . All of the team from the consultant , radiographer , nurses and the lovely lady ( Angela ) who done my mammogram made me feel completely at ease . I was never made to feel self concious or embarrassed ( getting your boobs out in front of strangers is always a daunting thought ) . The care I received today was second to none . I would not hesitate to go back if I needed to , and would recommend this service at Broomfield to any woman . Thank you for everything .
